The Delaware Friends of Folk is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
which hosts monthly coffeehouses in downtown Dover, as well as the
Delmarva Folk Festival, which is in its 16th year. This benefit
will help replenish the organization's "rainy day fund",
which was depleted last year when a Nor'Easter deluged the area
with rain, wind, and the resulting mud on first weekend in October.
We hope you'll come out and have a great time with this unbelievable
line-up that is donating its time and talents to help us help our
friends at the Friends of Folk. For more information on the Friends
of Folk, see http://www.delfolk.org
If you're planning to join us, make an RSVP soon - this show will
have very limited space available, and will probably sell out in
advance! Also plan to bring:
- a lawn chair or blanket, since we'll be outside
- sunscreen, weather protection
- a covered dish to share
- some extra money so you can:
- buy CDs from the artists - and get them to sign them!
- provide a donation for beer which will be contributed by
Fordham Brewing
- get yourself raffle tickets for special items we'll be raffling
off!
